    On those models that I have everything working on the last images (with the available core) with the correct dtb (video output setting in eMMC and NAND).
    ok, other thing .

    With mxv dtb I find that only poweroff with the 4 USB (OTG on android) plugged with some device keyboard or other.

    hd180 dtb

    usb_a {
    lm-compatible = "amlogic,usb";
    lm-periph-id = <0x0>;
    clock-src = "usb0";
    port-id = <0x0>;
    port-type = <0x1>;
    port-speed = <0x0>;
    port-config = <0x0>;
    port-dma = <0x0>;
    port-id-mode = <0x1>;
    host-only-core = <0x1>;
    pmu-apply-power = <0x1>;
    gpio-work-mask = <0x1>;
    status = "okay";

    mxv dtb

    usb_a {
    lm-compatible = "amlogic,usb";
    lm-periph-id = <0x0>;
    clock-src = "usb0";
    port-id = <0x0>;
    port-type = <0x1>;
    port-speed = <0x0>;
    port-config = <0x0>;
    port-dma = <0x0>;
    port-id-mode = <0x0>;
    gpio-vbus-power = "GPIOAO_5";
    gpio-work-mask = <0x1>;
    status = "okay";

    Can be possible to poweroff without have usb 4 plugged ?

        ok no problem forget that. Using the other kernel I post before I can boot to linux but give a lot of errors( like mali dont work or encoder ) and dont work well on the full desktop version.

        How I know where if the difference that not make work the 3.10.33 kernel with my MXV box? knowing that kernel 3.10.105 at least start.

        Maybe you understand all the things on the dmesg and find something??

            ok , But the system run even with that errors.

            Why this two kernel :
            https://github.com/codesnake/linux-a...g/3.10-16a1118 (mali module work with ump)
            https://github.com/arco/linux-amlogi...g/3.10-9263fa9
            works??

            Where is the different from the 3.10.33 amlogic kernel ??

            I have test buildroot , kernel from amlogic openlinux but not work!

              Compare the kernel configuration and source code. Then you will see why.

              • Image update Armbian S805 20180112.
                Updated kernel to version 3.10.99. Added screen mode 1080p. This mode is enabled by default. To switch to 720p you need to edit first line of script /boot/hdmi.sh. For smooth playback of test video I recommend to reduce the window size of the reproduced video to the size that would have enough system resources for smooth video playback.

                • Glad to see this project continuing, thanks balbes150. With the advances since my last attempts, I'm anxious to see if it works now. (Lost my last loose uSD card.) Will report on results.

                  • I've downloaded the mint-version and selected mxq first, and than 200-1gb out of dtb. But nothing is running on my OTT TV MXQ 1gb / 4gb. I have waited for minutes, but nothing is going on.
                    Or is there a mistake.

                    - i extract the downloaded file
                    - flash it with usb image tool
                    - took the card in the box
                    - start up

                    Have i loose something?

                    • On which version of mint you write ? Specify the exact version. This topic is discussed Armbian.
