        here is the coupon:HQCNYFAV.

What is a good rom for it?

I use LibreELEC on it, works like a charm!

I received this box today, and so far my experience is everything but positive.

Android crashed 3 times before I even could explore anything installed.

Runs very hot. 65°C on idle and when opening a live stream in Kodi, within 30 minutes it will be over 80°C

Minix A2 Lite doesn't work properly, stuttering while scrolling, and the mouse pointer works an can be moved but when you press select nothing happens.

Remote that came with the box very basic, and needs to be very close to the box and correctly pointed, otherwise it doesn't work and also experience the stuttering when scrolling through Kodi addons.

Maybe someone can suggest a custom firmware for this box, but LibreElec is no use for me, since I use APK's as well on the box.

Lets have a closer look at the Z69 3G RAM + 32G ROM TV Box, Amlogic S905X Quad-core Cortex A53 Android 7.1.2 OS
Thanks to Gearbest for the opportunity to have a look and see.
                  Let's see what we have

                  The Box

                  Look Inside

                  What's in the box

                  Underside No vents

Topside, good idea, but no much air circulation might be drill time

                  The Main Workings

In discussion with Superceleron on this box as it is Very laggy/slow, and being the 905x we have a couple things in play.
As it is not a very Strong CPU it should be running in a 32bit environment currently running 64bit so that will make a mess.
Also the 905x is happier in a 2/16 environment so the 3/32 maybe adding to the woes as well.

I note it is a single chip 3GB so maybe some low powered device that is ok.

So a few test only unit this software get sorted I feel.

I read on another thread on this forum that the versions with Android 6 don't have this issues, unfortunately those are all 2/16 Gb versions.

The same boxes later on were delivered with Android 7.1.2 and have the same problems as this one.

Yep a lot of Lag/slow for sure,
Temps seem fine here idle down to 38c...mid 50c doing stuff

Just needs a good rom and it will be a rocket (i hope) keep looking

All new stuff starts like this, all in good time

Have Installed the above, mentioned firmware...
The lag is gone, Rom is now more usable running Android 6.1.
No Root, No Upper or Lower Bars at this stage for those that need to know.

Test indicate much the same no Lag and that has to be good.
