I am pretty sure it is a rk3128 chip but it has a heat sink on it. Currently build rk312x_R-BOX_ANDROID4.4.4-SDK_V1.0.0

    Hi bembee ,

the Resolution can be changed in Settings to ( what your Tv supports ) , what is the Resolution u use now ???

Maybe someone has to change your kernel for that ???

Where did you buy it ??? How old is the Device ??? Is it not maybe a RK3188 Stick ??? , even they support 1080p ,

    strange .

    good luck

Thanks Gefattern, I bought it on **** last june - makes it a year old. You can select 1280x720 from the settings. Ah, sorry, my mistake. I am sharing a monitor and I see I am really looking for 1920x1080 not 1280x720. From the kernel build and from other peoples pictures on the internet, I'm fairly sure it is a rx3128 chip (it has a large heat sink on it which I am reluctant to remove, fearing damaging something).
