well if it gets HW damage from unplugging it .... yeah its trash anyway and no big deal, i got a firestick now and the adapter for Hardwire Ethernet coming in a day or two, so as for the v88 , Its junk anyway, i was only trying to fix it to let my brother use it till his box gets ordered, then i was going to use it on my back tv that never gets used LOL.

hmmm i am using windows 8.1, ive read to disable somthing in win 8 when doing this but if i disable this its not able to pick up anything. Anyone know a work around? maybe a Virtual Machine of win 7 ? i have access to 3 PCs in my house but all are running win 8.1.

Thanks for the image. Finally have unbricked my V88 box with image for MX4VR. Board is MX4VB

Found today this image for Board MX4VB. Maybe this image will also unbrick the device. Did not tried out yet.

                      rk3229_7.1_MX4VB_SSV6051p_zhongx_20171209_v011_Spe ctek.zip

Try some software for Nexbox a95x r1 with 3229 chip it has similar hardware as V88.
