    Android Oreo For Mini M8S II

    What is working:
    - WiFi
    - Ethernet
    - Bluetooth
    - USB
    - Playstore
    - Etc.

    Whats not working:
    - Blue led is powered off after bootloader starts kernel (minor issue, will fix in future)

    Whats new:
    - New bootloader compiled from source
    *selinux permisive
    *auto multiboot function:
    (example: -libreelec- just put kernel.img and dtb.img to boot from external devices like sdcard or usb)
    (example: -armbian- to boot linux the bootloader will serch for s905_autoscript on sd or usb)

    - New kernel compiled from source

    As Android Oreo for S905 is quite new there may be some bags.
    What bugs? I cant find all bugs by myself so, if there is a bug please report and i will try to fix it for future versions.
    Firmware is Rooted.
    Also i changed the default UI resolution to 720p for performance.
    If you wish to have UI in 1080p you need to change /vendor/mesondisplay.cfg and also /system/build.prop lcd.density to 240.

    • NVIDIA halts SHIELD TV's Oreo update because of "a couple of issues"

      NVIDIA started rolling out the Android 8.0 update to its SHIELD TV last week, and with it came the new Oreo launcher, the latest security updates, plenty of improvements, but also "a couple of issues." That's why NVIDIA is halting the update until it can fix things and resume the rollout.

    • Intel’s 28-Core 5 GHz CPU: Coming in Q4

      Alongside the launch of Intel’s first 5 GHz processor, the 6-core Core i7-8086K, Intel today also showcased a 28-core single socket machine also running at 5 GHz. The system on display scored 7334 in Cinebench R15, and Gregory Bryant (SVP and GM of Intel Client Computing Group) explicitly stated that it would be coming in Q4 this year.
